The After Hrs review: Gali Gali Chor Hai

Bharat (Akshay Khanna,) is the “aam admi,” the common man of the situation. He works as a cashier at a bank in Bhopal, in India’s state of Madhya Pradesh. After he refuses to lend his home for a political campaign, Bharat is engulfed in a bureaucratic mess as politicians and police officials harass him for being uncooperative.

What does make the film worth a watch however, are the effortless performances by the actors and the supporting cast. Akshaye and Shriya give fine performances, as do Satish, Annu, Rajpal and Akhilendra. The dialogues are interesting initially, even though they fail to move you much in the second half. Overall, it’s worth a watch, but you won’t find yourself tom-tomming about it galli galli.

Riteish Genelia Wedding

Bollywood's much-awaited marriage of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza has witnessed many biggies of the industry. But there was someone who kept himself away from this big fat wedding and he is none other than Salman Khan.
Riteish, the younger son of former Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, too sported a typical Marathi groom's attire - the sherwani, red turban and mundawali.

The lavish wedding was organised at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Santa Cruz and Bollywood stars and politicians turned up in large numbers to bless the couple. The 'bidai' is at 5.30 in the evening.
Guests spotted at the wedding party are as follows- Shahid Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ashish Chowdhary, Ashutosh Gowariker, Sajid Nadiadwala, Satish Shah, Asin, Tina Ambani, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol and Ajay Devgn, Raj Thackery.
